Little bit of this and a little bit of that!

Happy Happy Sunday My Goodness readers! I hope your weekends were full of fun!

I took Friday off of work for a much needed day of getting stuff done! There were multiple places I still needed to change my last name from my maiden name, to my married name. WOW!! What a task this was….. UGH! I left the house at 8:00am on Friday and didn’t get home until 3:00. Yikes! The list I found on the blog “Stay at home Susie” really helped . Not an ideal day off, but I was able to enjoy some time with my puppies in the morning, and had a little date with myself at Target to catch up on a few things and journal a little.

The rest of the weekend was full of a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Workouts (sprint HIIT workout below), Nick’s awful cold from last week deciding it wanted to hangout with me and it still hanging UGH, breakfast and church Sunday morning, lots of lounging, a couple house projects, and will end with an early bed time this evening!

I was feeling guilty not having any of our wedding pictures up and when I found these 8X10 frames at target for $1.49 YES I said $1.49 I knew it was time to put some pictures up! The frames were gold, so we spray painted them to match the rest of our decor and printed black and white photos, added some mirrors and have a little wall with three of our favorite pictures of our special day 🙂 Nick also put together this little pallet shelf for his bar and I stained in black for him. Simple and cheap…PERFECT!

photo 5-23Time for some tea, reading, and bed! No time for sickness and praying it’s gone tomorrow morning. I have a few fitness goals set for this week ahead and it’s time to rest up! What is a goal you have for yourself this week? Have a happy and healthy Monday everyone!!

  1. What a tasteful way to display some beautiful wedding day pictures and that pallet shelve if too cool!!
    Can I just comment on how ridiculously adorable your dogs are!
    My goal this week is to workout at least 4 times and to stretch more. I hope you’re feeling better!!

    1. Yes!! 🙂 Thank you lady! Still dealing with that darn cold but I think it’s starting to go away. BTW, I have been catching up on a lot of your posts and your blog is one of my favorites! Thank you so much for sharing and being so REAL!
