31 Day Fitness Challenge (week 2)

Well hello! I’m sorry for the lack of posts as of late, Nick and I just got back from  our 1 year anniversary trip to Cabo! No worries, I will update you on that in a later post since I’m sure you are all just dying to see an overload of selfies from our trip 😉 <— seriously though with two people on a trip…selfies is just the name of the game in order to capture those special memories!

Stopping in for a quick post today. I have a number of people taking on my 31 day fitness challenge during the month of August. I had a number of questions regarding week 1 so I wanted to do a quick look into week 2 for you all. First of all… awesome job everyone who did week 1! I know if you are not familiar with HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts, those can be a killer to get used to. Well the secret is, you will never get USED to them, you will just get better at them. They are supposed to be a butt kicking every single time. If you missed a workout or a core day in week 1, do not give up!! It IS OKAY!!! Commit yourself the best that you can for these 31 days. Anything is better than nothing.

Okay so… week 2! Keep going on that core challenge. This is mapped out for you, for all 31 days so this one is simple to follow. Next comes the challenge workouts. To recap, each week you will have a new set of challenge workouts. Last week (week 1) you had three challenge workouts to complete at some point throughout your week. Now here are this weeks workouts. Sometime throughout the next week, complete all three of the below workouts. Let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Reminder: for workout three you can do this on a treadmill, outside, or on an elliptical. I explain how to do it on an elliptical in THIS post. Helpful Hints for this week: **Tricep dips can be done on your stairs**Click HERE to see a power jack**Keep your back really straight during your high knees**Your legs will be ON FIRE during those jump lunges**

Week 2

We are spending our weekend cuddling with our furry children 😉 who we missed so much while we were gone, getting caught up on stuff around the house, and celebrating our anniversary tomorrow! I have some fun post planned for this coming week so stop back by if you would like. Happy Saturday all!
