BREAKFAST

I am a strong believer in breakfast being the most important meal of the day! I have always loved breakfast and get SUPER excited when we have breakfast for dinner… isn’t that the best?!

With not being in college anymore and not having the privilege to sleep in until 9:00am anymore, my breakfasts now need to be quick and on the go… but still healthy. I probably shouldn’t leave out my go-to most every single day…COFFEE! I swear nowadays it’s more of a comfort thing really. I get through my day and will realize I only drank half of my one cup of coffee. Oh well… I love it! Below are some of my favorite things to have in the mornings.

These Pumpkin Spice Muffins are a favorite of mine and anyone who tries them! My Grandma made them years ago and I went nuts over them to surprisingly find out they are a weight watchers recipe that you can find here! YUM! I add walnuts to the recipe and I MIGHT sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on the top 😉 One of these with my coffee in the morning is delish!

My go-to snack and breakfast! Cut up banana, granola, and peanut butter. So simple and actually pretty filling.

oatmeal

During the cold months… which unfortunately for us is about 6 months of the year, I LOVE this oatmeal. It’s so easy at work to put it in a little cup and go get hot water from our coffee machines. It’s THAT simple and THAT good!

A big old smoothie always does the trick! I have tried so many different variations and I think I have found my favorite! Spinach, Peanut Butter (surprise surprise!), Vanilla protein, Banana, Honey, and a dash of cinnamon. So good!

Another quick and easy breakfast is yogurt with your favorite granola on top. Don’t forget your coffee 🙂

english muffin

An English Muffin is also a favorite of mine and is much better for you than a whole wheat bagel!

On the weekends my Husband does enjoy when I make biscuits and gravy or waffles! We have to indulge sometimes!
